Information we process
Public browsing does not require an account. The site receives ordinary technical request information needed to deliver pages and protect services from abuse. Authorized editor accounts use authentication data to provide secure access.
AI Software Advisor
When you use the Advisor, the needs, requirements, team size, and budget you enter are sent to an AI processing service to produce a response. SpecEntry does not store the free-text description in its Advisor analytics. It records limited events, such as whether a request completed, team size, result count, and selected product.
Abuse prevention
To limit repeated Advisor requests, SpecEntry creates a one-way daily identifier from the visitor's network address. The raw network address is not stored in the rate-limit record, and the identifier changes daily.
Browser storage
Public visitors have no preferences stored by the site. Necessary browser storage is used only for authorized editor sign-in. See the Cookie Policy for current details.
Analytics and advertising
The public site does not currently load optional analytics or third-party advertising tracking scripts. This policy and any required choices will be updated before optional tracking is enabled.
Sharing and retention
Information is shared only with service providers needed to operate hosting, authentication, data storage, and the AI Advisor, or when required by law. SpecEntry does not sell personal information for cash. Information is retained only as long as needed for its stated purpose.

You can remove local site data through your browser controls. This may sign an authorized editor out.
