Seat minimums
Some plans require a minimum number of users. A 2-person team on a plan with a 3-seat minimum pays for 3. SpecEntry applies a minimum automatically whenever the vendor states one.
Setup and onboarding fees
Some business tools charge a one-time fee for setup, data migration or mandatory onboarding. It does not appear in the monthly price but it does affect your first-year cost, which is why the Stack Builder shows a Year 1 total.
Paid add-ons
Features you might assume are included, such as advanced reporting, extra storage, phone support or integrations, are sometimes sold separately. Check the plan's inclusions list against what you actually need.
Tier jumps
One feature or limit can force you onto a much more expensive plan for the whole team. Look at the next tier's price, not just the one you start on.
Annual prepayment
The lowest price usually means paying a year upfront. It is a cash-flow cost even when it saves money overall.
Taxes
Most US software prices are shown before sales tax. Our calculations exclude tax and say so next to every result.
Promotional prices
Introductory discounts end. SpecEntry always calculates on the regular price and shows any promotion separately, so you can see what you will pay after it expires.
